Hilarity Bites Comedy Club work with people from all parts of the comedy community, and can provide comedians for all types of event.

Comedy is our business, and we love working with the very best comedians on the UK and International comedy circuit. Whether it be one of our regular comedy club shows, bigger acts on tour, our booking of the Darlington Comedy Festival, or providing comedians for private events, we strive to provide the very best acts to our audiences whilst also providing the best value for money that we can. First and foremost, Hilarity Bites is responsible for producing great comedy nights throughout the North-East of England – but we’re not limited geographically, and we’re always happy to speak to new venues throughout the UK, and beyond. Corporate shows

Over the years we’ve had many requests to provide comedians for corporate events, and we’ve always managed to find the perfect act to fit the bill. Whether it’s an awards presentation, after-dinner speaker, sportsman’s dinner, company event, boxing night, or any other sort of private function, we can find the perfect act to raise a giggle on the night.

Charity shows

Here at Hilarity Bites we also regularly run shows to support charities, both local and national, including Oxjam, St. Teresa’s Hospice, Butterwick Hospice, and Marie Curie. If you’re a charity fundraiser, and are looking for an event that’s a bit different in order to help raise funds, then give us a shout.

Kids comedy

Kids comedy is one of the big boom areas within comedy at the moment, and we’ve experience of running brilliant Kid’s Comedy Clubs that bring comedy to a young audience, but using professional stand-up comedians. With shows running at about an hour in length (although this can be tailored to meet requirements), it’s the perfect event for a morning or afternoon to entertain the little ones.

Festivals

Hilarity Bites have bags of experience when it comes to festivals. Every year we book, programme, and run the Darlington Comedy Festival. We also regularly produce and promote shows at the Edinburgh Festival, and have provided the comedy offering for several weekend festivals, such as the Redcar Rocks festival every year that it was in existence.
