Seymour Mace

Seymour Mace

Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee 2015

As seen on Dave's One Night Stand and starring in Ideal and Hebburn, Seymour Mace's surreal free form stand up takes the audience on a slightly off-beat flight of fancy, with his childlike and often childish explorations into relationships and naive investigations into why things are. Follow the hilarity into his charmed mind to see through his eyes... life, the universe and bears!

Seymour was the winner of the Newcastle Comedy Festival Big Grin Award 2000, winner of the Cup-A-Soup Challenge 2001, finalist in Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny 2001 and semi-finalist in the BBC New Act Competition 2002. Seymour was City Life Comedian of the Year in 2003 and Best Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards in 2004.

Since then, he has featured in the first five series of “Ideal” on BBC Three, and is now unable to walk down the street without being recognised by the nation’s stoners. Seymour's world is a unique one, but enter it and you'll leave all the better for the experience...

“Made me completely lose myself to laughter” - The Times

“Sharp, surreal set” - Leicester Mercury

“It's a shambles, but it's brilliantly put together... Seymour Mace deserves not to be niche. He is random, passionate, funny and ingenious. He's only niche because you haven't seen him yet” - Fest

Lee Kyle

MC Lee Kyle

In his never ending quest not to have a proper job, Lee Kyle spent time as part of an all male Spice Girls tribute act before spending a decade as a professional wrestler.

Managing the difficult trick of being both odd and relatable, he did a show at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 that he heard was well received but he doesn't read reviews because his psyche is too fragile to handle them so he isn't totally sure what they said.

Armed with props and a rapid gag rate he cuts a confident, if off-beat figure on stage. His jokes veer between the clever and the silly and deliver more than their fair share of belly laughs.

“Top up-and-coming comedy performer” - BBC

“Quirky and original... the highlight of the night” - Giggle Beats

“Very funny” - Manchester Evening News
